Structural Composition:
A digital height gauge typically consists of a base, a handwheel, a gauge body, a fine-tuning device, a gauge frame, and measuring jaws. The base provides stable support; the handwheel is used for quick movement of the gauge frame; the fine-tuning device allows for precise micro-adjustments; the measuring jaws contact the workpiece being measured to acquire measurement data; and the digital display screen is used to display the measurement results.
Specifications:The measuring ranges include 0–300 mm, 0–500 mm, 0–1000 mm, 0–1500 mm, and 0–2000 mm. Depending on the application, It's available in single-column and double-column types. Double-column types are mainly used for higher-precision applications or those requiring a larger measuring range, while single-column types are more common for 0–300 mm and 0–500 mm ranges.

Working principle:
Digital height gauges generally use optical or capacitive scales as measuring elements. When the measuring jaws move, the scale generates a corresponding electrical signal, which is processed by electronic circuitry and displayed on the digital screen as the measured height value.
Measurement accuracy: it offer high accuracy, although measurement accuracy varies by model and specification. For example, Nikon's MF-501+TC-200 digital height gauge has a measuring range of 0–50 mm and an accuracy of ±1 μm.
How to use the height gauge?
1. Before use, wipe the gauge body, measuring jaws, and base with a soft cloth.
2. Place the item on a stable workbench, press the power switch, and check that the battery and display are functioning correctly.
3. Loosen the fastening screws, move the gauge frame, and ensure that all components are operating properly.
4. During measurement, the platform surface is generally used as the zero reference. Place the workpiece on the platform, move the measuring jaws until they contact the area to be measured, and the digital display will show the measurement result.
5. After measurement, turn off the power, clean the gauge promptly, and store it properly.

Supports zero setting at any position (e.g., using a workpiece surface as a temporary zero reference), enabling relative measurements and further enhancing measurement flexibility and accuracy.
With measuring ranges from 0–150 mm (mini type, suitable for electronic components) to 0–3000 mm (large dual-column type, suitable for large equipment or workpieces), it meets the measurement needs of different industries.
