*Additionally, you should inspect the battery compartment. Remove the battery and check if the spring inside the compartment is deformed or rusted. If you find any issues, you can use tools like tweezers to carefully adjust or clean the spring. Ensuring good contact between the battery and the spring is crucial for reliable operation.

 

*Check the Sensor: If the sensor of the digital caliper is subjected to impact or excessive force, it may become damaged, leading to erratic readings or flickering numbers. Inspect the sensor to ensure it is correctly positioned and check for any signs of loosening or damage. If issues are detected, the sensor may need to be adjusted or replaced.

 

*Demagnetize the Caliper: If the digital caliper comes into contact with magnetized objects during use, it may experience magnetic interference, causing the numbers to jump. To resolve this, use demagnetization equipment to remove any residual magnetism from the caliper, thereby eliminating the magnetic interference.
